The Betty & Jim Holmes Food Bank Garden is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to reduce food insecurity in our local area by providing fresh produce for those in need.
Our garden is entirely managed and worked entirely by volunteers. Our volunteer garden board oversees planning garden work and manages donated funds to continue to improve our impact. Our volunteer garden leaders are responsible for managing volunteer tasks on work days and ensuring our volunteers have the best experience.
We always welcome new volunteers and especially anyone interested in becoming a garden leader to help us manage the good work. Becoming a garden leader requires no more garden expertise than volunteering (that is to say: none). If you are interested in becoming a leader, please either ask in person the next time you visit or use the 'contact us' link below.
